CLASS AA PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT BUNGALOW CONVERSION
The brief for this conversion project was demanding and exciting - a full conversion of a former 2-bedroom bungalow to a substantial 5-bedroom two-storey house. Our designs were one of the first Class AA permitted development conversion projects to be approved and built in the Woking borough.
The Architectural Design & Structural Engineering:
The former bungalow was completely transformed to create a bright, spacious hallway leading to an expansive and contemporary open-plan kitchen-dining-living room. Situated at the heart of the property, the open-plan living area is framed by bi-fold doors leading directly out into the garden, providing in-and-out living. In addition, the ground floor accommodation features a reception room with characterful bay window, in keeping with the character of the original bungalow, a study and downstairs bathroom.
The first floor accommodation comprises five double bedrooms, including a master with wet room en-suite. There is a second bedroom with en-suite, and family bathroom on the first floor.
This stunning transformation has resulted in a substantial family home, with spacious and contemporary living areas, and with two of the five bedrooms providing ensuite facilities. A first for the area - this project has ably demonstrated just how much can be achieved through local council permitted development.
